Brass Products Radiator Valves made in UK for the UK and European markets. Our task was to create a complete set of photographs of radiator valves for UK and European Sales compliance.
Initial Meeting
On arriving at the factory we started the first session with a site meeting that began with a tour of the shop floor operations for our information and a Health and Safety. We got a first hand experience of the manufacturing process, then down to business and the job in hand. Having been given a collection of valves to fit various pipe sizes and different finishes including, chrome, brass, antique brass, copper, anodised, brushed steel, we set about creating our photo sesssion space in there office. Although not an ideal space was provided we managed to creat our lighting and camera setup to start the session
Various Types
There are different radiator valve styles to accommodate a variety of properties including stately homes, commercial and residential. Our setup was to create photographs from 4 sides and two angles looking down at the top.
Many of the valves had options for different coloured top rings and a sample of these were also included in the session.
From the images above this text are thermostatic radiator valves all except the far right image, below all images are non-thermostatic radiator valves except the far right image.
Identifying the difference just for information, the images above where the top of the valve with the holes just below the tap grab area house the thermostatic element whereas the standard or non-thermostatic valves have a straight shaft to the tap head.
From the three images in the list below on the right hand side are the bottom radiator valves and the far right image has a larger cover as this also houses a thermostatic element and the other two are standard shut off radiator valves.
Brass Products Radiator Valves
Radiator Valves Coloured Head Grip band, while the majority of the radiator valves created are of a standard traditional shape, size and colour there are also a growing number of companies and individuals requiring a modern twist, maybe the collar needs to suit the room colours and design or just to make them look a bit more funky, whatever the reason the colour an design can be made, within reason.
All photographs listed here are a snapshot of the total images we created and were completed over a number of sessions. Due to restrictions at the factory we completed the first set in-house and the remaining products were completed in our product studio. These photographs were used for advertising in printed form, website and printed guidance notes and guarantee for each valve.
